Vývoj nezaměstnanosti v ČR v letech 2020-2021

The diploma thesis deals with the development of unemployment in the territory of the Czech Republic in the period 2020–2021. The aim of the thesis is to reflect the changes in unemployment rate in the given territory as a result of government restrictions in order to protect the public health of the population in connection with the spread of the SARS-CoV-2 virus. Based on secondary data of the unemployment rate, the thesis interprets the numerical transformation of the growth of unemployment across the regions of the Czech Republic. These knowledges are placed in the context of temporal events of interventions in the economy. The results of the analytical part proved that the anti-epidemic measures is-sued as part of the prevention of the covid-19 disease had an effect on increased unemployment. The national average of the unemployment rate increased by 1.1 p. p. as of 31 December 2020. At the same time, based on the results, it can be stated that there are differentiations between regions, which are dependent on the struc-ture of the industry and their share of employment in the given industry. The high-est year-on-year increase as of 31 December 2020 was recorded in the district of Karlovy Vary by 3.4 p. p., the smallest in the district of Prachatice by 0.3 p. p.
Demografické aspekty nezaměstnanosti v Pardubickém kraji v letech 2005-2014

This bachelor thesis is dedicated to unemployment of the Pardubice Region from the demographic factors point of view in period 2005-2014. The partial part of thesis is searching for causation of unemployment at the level of its districts. By using method of demographic analysis I solved mutual links and finding in the context of demographic relation of unemployment. On the basis of research problem I reached to a conclusion that Pardubice region is considerably different from the point of the unemployment, supply and structure of job vacancy and achieved degree of education. The biggest difference of unemployment we can find between districts Pardubice and Svitavy.
Statistical analysis of unemployment in selected region

This thesis deals with the analysis of unemployment in the region Usti. Review of literature contains theoretical issues relating to the labor market and unemployment. Practical part of work is focused on the analysis and interpretation of the evolution of unemployment by using the indicator of unemployed people and the number of unemployed in the years 2005 - 2015 and prediction of future development of these indicators. Statistical methods are used for the analysis and prediction. Practical part of work also describe selected structural characteristics of the unemployed to find an problematic group of registered job seekers. In conclusion, summarizing the results and show proposals for dealing with unemployment in the Usti region.
Fiscal policy and analysis of unemployment in the Litoměřice region

This master's thesis deals with fiscal policy and the analysis of unemployment in the region of Litoměřice. The first section summarizes theoretical findings in the area of fiscal policy, unemployment, and the labour market. This section also describes specific elements of the labour market and the risk groups in it; forms and tools of fiscal policy; types of unemployment and its impacts; and tools for decreasing unemployment. The practical section of this thesis provides the general characteristics of the region of Litoměřice. Unemployment in the region is explored according to age structure, length of unemployment, structures of available job positions and the degree of education achieved among unemployed individuals. In addition, this section compares the region of Litoměřice to the Ústí Region in terms of unemployment. By using an econometric model, the impacts of selected variables are quantified on the ratio of unemployed persons in the region of Litoměřice. The model contains quarterly data from 2010 to 2015. At the end of the practical section, the influences of individual variable models are expressed relatively via elasticity coefficients.
Impact of Foreign Investments on Unemployment in a Selected Region

Economy of the Czech Republic belongs to successful recipients of foreign direct investments, which bring various positive effects. Most important is job creation by foreign investors and their local subcontractors. Other effects are increase of labor productivity, new technologies and management know-how. Masters thesis describes the issue of foreign direct investments, their effect on unemployment focusing on Louny district.
Analysis of labour market in selected region

My thesis describes the analysis of the Labor Market in Liberec Region. The theoretical part describes the basic concepts of labour market, the unemployment and the state employment policy. Second part of my thesis contains my own analysis which describes the basic characteristic of Liberec Region and also it contains my own research of employment and unemployment. Within the framework of employment analysis is analyzed the total employment, structure of employees in light of age, education and sphere. Furthermore, there are analyzed the significant employers in Liberec Region. The employment is analyzed based on the unemployment indicator, the proportion of the unemployed, the total number of job seekers and total number of job vacancy. The unemployment rate indicator is applied as prognosis for year 2015. This thesis also contains the characteristic of selected problematic groups of people in Labor Market and also problematic areas in Liberec Region. The final part of my thesis contains the description of the state active employment policy and it contains suggested potential solutions to improve the situation in the Labor Market in Liberec Region.
Statistical analysis of unemployment in Kutná Hora District and its expected future development

This thesis deals with statistical analysis of unemployment in the region of Kutna Hora. Work will focus on job opportunities and on the structure of the candidates on the demand side in terms of gender, age and level of educational attainment. It also includes candidates from risk groups, graduates and disadvantaged. Statistical methods will evaluate seasonality in unemployment and quantified trends selected indicators. The result will be a formulation of recommendations for reducing unemployment in the region. The underlying data will be processed using the methods of analysis of time series based on the collection of data available in the databases of the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs, the Czech Statistical Office and the Labour Office in Kutna Hora.
Statistical comparison of unemployment Pardubice Region with focus on graduates

This Bachelor´s thesis deals with the comparison of unemployment rates in individual districts of Pardubice Region, focusing on graduates in the years 2011 - 2015. The theoretical part deals with the problems of unemployment and issues related to it. In the practical part first there is an analysis of the development of the percentage indicator of unemployed persons in Pardubice region compared to the Czech Republic, and then this indicator is compared within different districts of the region. Further attention is paid to the analysis of unemployment according to the development of the number of the candidates, vacancies and education. From these viewpoints the situation in high-risk groups of unemployed graduates is investigated. Consequently the same situation is analyzed using the indicator of the rate of unemployment. Finally, seasonality and its impact on the unemployment rate in Pardubice region and its districts and predicted future developments for the year 2016 are determined. Methods from the field of time series were applied to asess the underlying data. The results were used to formulate recommendations and possible solutions to improve the unemployment situation in Pardubice region as well as for better enforcement of the graduates in the labour market.
The development of unemployment in the Pilsen Region

The thesis contains a literature review of the concept of unemployment. Explains the concept of the labor market as supply and demand in the labor market, which takes balance, what are the kinds of labor market imperfections and mentions interventions in the labor market. Analyzes in detail the concepts associated with unemployment, and the frequency and duration of unemployment, types and measurement of unemployment, natural rate of unemployment and relations with inflation risk groups unemployment, migration of workers and the causes and consequences of unemployment. Part of the process is to look at the work of the Labor office of the Czech Republic and the related employment policy. The second part contains an analysis of the data obtained at the Labor office of the Czech Republic, Czech Statistical Office and the personal agency ManpowerGroup. In data processing, analysis focused on the attitude of the Pilsen Region to the Czech Republic, the development in the Pilsen Region and individual districts. On analyzing the data follows the evaluation of results, synthesis and assessment of developments in the next period. Forecasts for the future are evaluated favorably.
Statistical analysis of unemployment development in CR regions

This diploma thesis analyzes the evolution of regional disparities in terms of unemployment in Czech Republic in the period from 2005 to 2015. The theoretical part focuses on labor market issues and unemployment. In practical part of diploma thesis, there is examined unemployment according to the share of unemployed persons in the respective regions, then also unemployment according to the share of unemployed men and women, prediction of the future development of the share of unemployed persons for the year 2016, the number of registered job seekers, vacancies and the number of registered persons per vacancy. Subsequently all regions are examined in the mutual comparison of registered job-seekers in categories according to age and registration length. Analysis of the evolution of unemployment is illustrated by tables and graphs expressing time series. For statistical examination is used arithmetic average and especially indices in time series as a chain index, growth rate, the average ratio of growth and the average growth rate. There is the overall analysis of the regions according to selected criteria in the conclusion of the thesis. The results characterize regions, which appears to be the worst from the perspective of unemployment and belong amongst endangered or regions achieving the most favourable values.
